About California Healthy Families
Healthy Families is a program that provides health insurance for middle income Californians. It was designed to bridge the gap if you aren't poverty stricken and qualify for medicaid or medical.
Possible cuts
There have been several times (including right now) that the Healthy Families program has been threatened with defunding or closing because of budget constraints.
